Mark your calendar and join in the healthy and fun 7th Annual LIONS WALK & RUN FOR SIGHT on Saturday, September 19, 2009. ANNUAL ROSE DAY SALES ending on October 16, 2009.

Activities :

• Provide eyeglasses and hearing aids for the needy in our neighborhood.
• Support Pacific University and Amigos in their efforts to provide eyeglasses and hearing aids to the needy in other countries.
• Provide scholarships for Pacific University students.
• Support youth activities: FG Little League, FG Babe Ruth, WCSA (Soccer), FG High School/FFA
• STARS & STRIPES FLAG PROGRAM Provide local businesses the opportunity to display the US Flag every holiday.
• Support local charities: Habitat for Humanity, Theatre in the Grove, FG Senior Center.
• Support local sight & hearing activities: Mobile Screening Unit, Hearing & Speech Institute, Pacific University Sight Fund
• Conduct several fund raisers each year for the support of the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation through activities such as: October Rose Day sale, Candy sales, Dinners, and public events.

If you can join us, we would appreciate your support in our fund raising efforts. All profits from fundraisers are used for charitable purposes. All club administrative costs are borne by club members through the annual dues.
